Visit the home of the Giant Pandas at Chengdu Panda Base or take trip to the historic Emei Mountain and Leshan.
For tourists who want to experience the Tibetan culture and ethnic minorities of Sichuan, taking a trip to Aba Prefecture and Garze Prefecture is a must. The Aba Prefecture is located in the northwest of Sichuan where the majority of the population is Tibetan. Jiuzhai Valley Nature Reserve and Mount Siguniang Nature Reserve can both be found at Aba Prefecture. As for the beautiful Yading Nature Reserve, Kangding and Daocheng they are located in Garze Prefecture. Both prefectures are home to Tibetans and other ethnic minorities.
