Zhengzhou Kaifeng Dengfeng Luoyang 4 Days Tour

This morning, our guide will transfer you to Dengfeng to continue our trip. The first stop to visit at Dengfeng will be Shaolin Temple. Located in the south of Mount Song, Shaolin Temple is considered as the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and the birthplace of Chinese Kunfu. When visiting Shaolin Temple, you will enjoy the magnificence of the architecture in Shaolin Temple, watch spectacular Shaolin Kungfu performances, listen to and read those ancient scriptures, learn some basic Kungfu moves, and eat the special monk food.

Next we will move to visit Center of Heaven and Earth. This historic monuments of Dengfeng in "The Center of Heaven and Earth," which include the ancient architectural complex at Mount Songshan and the site of the Xia-dynasty capital, are situated in and around Mount Songshan in Henan.

Also we will visit Forest of Pagoda in Mount Song Scenic Area. Forest of Pagodas is situated at the foot of Mount Song on the west of Shaolin Temple. The Forest of Pagodas is actually tombs for reputed Shaolin monks. The Forest of Pagodas contains 228 stone or brick pagodas in different styles of different dynasties, being the largest Buddhism pagoda forest in China. The Forest of Pagoda is a treasure museum for the study of ancient Chinese brick construction and carving art.

Afterwards, our guide will transfer you to Luoyang and take you to the hotel for check in.

Today your Luoyang sightseeing will begin with a visit to Longmen Grottoes. Longmen Grottoes is situated in the southern outskirts of the city. Having survived for about 1,400 years, the over 2,100 grottoes have tens of thousands of statues of Buddha and more than forty Buddhist pagodas as well as a large number of stone stables. In 2000, Longmen Grottoes was included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lots of historical materials concerning art, music, religion, calligraphy, medicine, costume and architecture are kept in Longmen Grottoes. Longmen Grottoes are a great place to get close to Chinese history and culture.

Next we will move on to visit National Peony Garden. The National Peony Garden is the earliest plantation base for peony in China. The garden has more than 1021 species of peonies from home and abroad planted and bred. With its complete species and large scale, the National Peony Garden is a great place for the admiration of the beautiful peonies.
