6 Days Classical Trekking Tour to Southwest Slope of Mount Gongga

Detailed Itinerary: After having breakfast, you will leave for Xinduqiao Village, passing by Waze Town, Jiagen Ba, Pengbuxi, Shade, Liuba, then reaching Shangmuju village. 4 hours drive, 130 km in total.

After arriving at Shangmuju Village, you will have a picnic by the river bank. Getting the guide houses ready, and then trekking to Zimeiya Pass, which will take about 5 hours. If you encounter a physical breakdown, you can take a motorbike or tractor (fee on your own). You will camp at Zimeiya Pass.

Detailed Itinerary: Today will be much easier, you can get up early to watch the sunrise at Mount Gongga. It will be the highlight of the whole tour.

After having breakfast, you will trek down the mountain, reaching Shangzimei Village in 3 hours. You will have lunch and replenish hot water. In the afternoon, you will visit Gongga Monastery, one of the best places to take some amazing photos.

Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, you will visit Bawang Lake along Moxi Valley and pass Xiazimei Village. The whole journey is downhill and will take 5-7 hours. Tonigh you wil Camp at Bawang Lake iand enjoy the beautiful view.

Detailed Itinerary: In the morning, you will have breakfast and climb to the mountain and take photos of Bawang Lake, then continue hiking to find a highway and get a lift to Caoke Village, you will pass by Boundary Stone. After having lunch at Caoke Village, you will take a local mini bus to Luding County.

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will be transferred from Luding county to Chengdu airport for your flight.
