The World’s Widest Glass Bridge Opens in Qingyuan
The world’s widest glass bridge has officially opened at Qingyuan Gulong Canyon (Gulongxia Scenic Area). The whole project has an estimated expenditure of 238 Million Yuan. The structure is supported by three layers of tempered glass panels that are each 4.5cm thick which can withstand the weight of more than 20 tonnes. The amazing cantilevered bridge is known as Yun Tian Bo Ba, has been reputed as China's “Glass Grand Canyon” due its similarities to the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the USA. It is said that Yun Tian Bo Ba is three times the length of The Grand Canyon Skywalk. Qingyuan is located in Guangdong Province and is only a one hour drive from Guangzhou.
