China’s Highest Ski Resort to be Built in Tibet
China has announced that they will build the world’s highest ski resort in Lhasa the capital city of Tibet. The resort will overtake the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Resort as the highest ski resort in the world. The exact details and facilities are yet to be confirmed and announced. The ski resort will be built over 5 years starting this year and is expected to be completed in 2020 and will become one of the top ski resorts in China. The resort will then be used as the training grounds for China’s athletes to train for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.
