	Introduction to Canton Tower (广州塔) Canton Tower, also known as Guangzhou Tower, is a landmark of Guangzhou and also one of the most spectacular buildings in the world. With the height of 600 meters, Canton Tower is the highest TV tower in China. For tourists traveling to Guangzhou, the Canton Tower is not only a must-see sightseeing spot and also a great place for entertainment. Canton Tower is noted for its unique and innovative design. Nicknamed of Xiao Man’s Waist, which means slender, Canton Tower was constructed very tall with slim waist in the middle of the tower in a human-like female figure. The 66th floor of the tower is where the narrowest part is and it has a diameter of only 30 meters. This unique and human-like identity of the tower also represents the image of Guangzhou as a dynamic and exciting city. Located at the south bank of the beautiful Pearl River and facing Haixinsha Island to the north, Canton Tower is a great spot for sightseeing. When climbing up to the top of the tower, tourists can enjoy an amazing bird’s-eye view of Guangzhou city landscapes and also the Pearl River. Housed with TV and radio transmission facilities, observatory decks, revolving restaurants, exhibition space, conference rooms, shops and 4D cinemas, beside transmitting radio, TV and microwave digital signals there are a lot of entertainments tourists can have great fun with. Take a ride of the ferry wheel which is at the top of the tower and the highest ferry wheel in the world. Watch a movie at the 4D cinema, or have a romantic dinner with your loved ones at the revolving restaurant at the 106th floor of the tower in the height of 423 meters.
