Travelling to Inner Mongolia
Flights
Inner Mongolia provides great convenience for airport transportation. There are nine public airports in Inner Mongolia, among which the main airports are Baotou Airport, Hohhot Baita International Airport, Chifeng Airport, and Hailar Dongshan Airport. But most airports in Inner Mongolia do not receive international flights, so tourists will have to transfer at an international airport in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Xian before arriving at Inner Mongolia. International flights from Hohhot to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia are available in Inner Mongolia.
